Last Thursday, 19th January 2012, there was a match between K-Gunners and the 1st and 2nd cohort juniors mostly from Sayy. Hassan. The purpose of the match was to make the juniors feel comfortable and for them to have a taste of what it feels like to be playing in the PTEK field.
The match was evenly competed as both teams were exchanging attacks. It was also a heated match as one of the juniors had an argument with K-Gunners's defender. Cassidy Liew opened the score sheet with a rarely headed goal, leaving the junior keeper paralyzed. The score remained at 1-0 until the end of the match's first half.
In the second half, K-Gunners became more lively as they introduced Nizam to the game. He scored a fantastic solo effort and a thunderous shot into the back of the net. Not long after the second goal, Nazim added his second and third goal for K-Gunners with a simple turnaround shot. The juniors cannot pick up where they left off in the first half as they were conceded with the fourth goal as Afif Ali from K-Gunners scored a volley. He then scored another volley and Shalfira Tamimi scored in between Afif Ali's goals, leaving a score of 6-0. Ahmad Rusydan made the juniors suffer more with a magnificent 30-40 yards long shot. As the game already seemed like it's 'game over' for the juniors, the K-Gunners players were still hungry for goals. Nasir Hassan from K-Gunners then added another 2 goals towards the end of the game.
The match ended with a final score of 9-0. This match was refereed by Aiman Hafizan.
