Last Saturday, 10th March 2012, PTEK conducted a cleaning campaign where all the students, lecturers and staff of the centre came together to lend a helping hand in cleaning our beloved school. The act of working together where we all have our sleeves rolled up and our clothes dirty, all for one mission, which is to make sure our school is clean, beautiful and a suitable environment to study in. Our tasks were separated into different parts where selected students and also students who were willing to help, were appointed to clean certain places such as the Multi-Purpose Hall and respective blocks. Other students were asked to take their part in cleaning their respective classrooms.

A young student from BE 1, Abdul Wafiy Baha, quoted, “It was a really fun day as I enjoyed cleaning with my fellow mates and also got to spend more time with them other than discussing about school related subjects, more or less, last Saturday has been my best day in that week.”

The cleaning campaign started as soon as the bell for break time rang at 9:45am. From what I saw, students and also lecturers were eager to get their hands working and get the job done early. The cleaning campaign slowly head to a finish at around 12 noon. Also, in the midst of the cleaning campaign, the cohort 3 students arrived and were welcomed by the student council members and were later given a tour by our student council president, Bibi Amadah.

Pictures below hold thousands of untold stories of what happened last Saturday Morning.
