As you all may know, PTE Katok holds the football friendly match annually. This year, the first match kicked off to a start on Saturday, 7th January 2012 at the PTE Katok field. It was a fierce match between 'K-Gunners' and 'Starjan' where Waie Nordin and Alif Zakaria were the referees.
It was a pretty one-sided match as K-Gunners got ahead of Starjan quickly with the score of 6-1. The first two goals of K-Gunners came from Shalfira Tamimi along with the next two goals coming from Afif Ali, who both gave their best performance during the match. This gave K-Gunners a head start and a lead of 4-0 against Starjan. Players from K-Gunners, Jafnie Junaidi and Cassidy Liew both took a shot and added one goal each for their team, giving them a score of 6-0 against Starjan.
The match came to an end with a goal from Hayatul Akhbar, a player from Starjan, narrowing the score down to 6-1. Both teams then congratulated and thanked one another for their cooperation during the match. Players Shalfira and Afif from K-Gunners both had a wonderful day ahead of them for scoring twice each for their team.
